What is Vehicle Insurance?

Vehicle Insurance provides essential coverage for your car, motorcycle, or boat, protecting against accidents, damage, and unexpected events.

What is it for?

This insurance covers damage to your vehicle, injury to others, and any losses if you're at fault in an accident. It also protects you from legal consequences, such as lawsuits. For example, if you're involved in a collision or your car is stolen, your insurance can help pay for repairs or replacement.

How does it work?

After selecting your coverage, you pay a premium. If your vehicle is damaged or you're at fault in an accident, the insurance helps with repairs, medical costs, and legal issues. Some policies also cover damages from uninsured drivers.

Auto Insurance

Auto Insurance is a legal requirement for all licensed drivers in Ontario. Without it, driving a registered vehicle is considered a serious offence, punishable by fines from $5,000 to $50,000, a suspended license, and vehicle impoundment.

Available coverages

Auto Insurance will protect and provide coverage for your vehicle(s), all listed drivers and any loss or damage. In Ontario, it is required to include and purchase the following Auto Insurance coverage:

  • Third-Party Liability Coverage: protects the insured if a third party has been injured or has succumbed to injuries, or their property is damaged. It will compensate for claims in the event of a lawsuit against the insured up to the limit of their coverage and compensate for the cost of settling a claim.
  • Statutory Accident Benefits Coverage: Provides benefits for injuries in an auto accident, regardless of fault. Includes medical, rehabilitation and attendant care, income replacement.
  • Direct Compensation – Property Damage (DC-PD) Coverage: Covers damage to the insured’s vehicle and contents if another driver is at fault, with compensation paid directly by the insurer.
  • Uninsured Automobile Coverage: Protects the insured and their family if injured or killed by an uninsured or hit-and-run driver. Also covers vehicle damage caused by an identified uninsured driver.

We guide customers through every step of their Auto Insurance journey, from selection to ongoing support. Each client is assigned a licensed broker who provides personalized service and access to a wide range of insurers.

Motorcycle Insurance

Motorcycle Insurance is essential for all licensed riders who own registered bikes, classic/vintage bikes, cruisers and custom bikes. Motorcycle Insurance ensures coverage for your bike(s), all listed riders and any covered loss or damage.

Available coverages

Insurers will base your rate depending on your age, riding experience and the type of bike you own. Some of the available coverage for motorcycle insurance includes:

  • Liability Coverage: Protects the insured if a third party is injured, succumbed to their injuries, or their property is damaged. Covers claims and legal costs up to the policy limit.
  • Collision Coverage: This coverage will help pay for the bike repairs that were damaged in your fault accident, that is less than the deductible amount.
  • Comprehensive Coverage: covers any loss or damage caused by fire, vandalism, theft, storms, hail damage and other non-traffic accident claims.
  • Total Loss Insurance Coverage: This will help pay to replace your bike.

We guide customers through every step of their motorcycle insurance journey, from selecting a policy to ongoing support. Each customer is assigned a licensed broker who provides personalized assistance through a wide network of insurance providers.

Whether you own a sailboat, fishing boat, jet boat, pontoon, jet skis, or more, we can tailor the right coverage for you. Several factors influence your insurance premium, including:

  • Boat size and power
  • Boat value and replacement cost
  • Your boating experience and driving record
  • Completion of a boating safety course with Transport Canada
  • Professional boat inspection history
  • Previous insurance claims history
  • The area you plan to navigate and its risk level
  • Safety features like GPS and automatic fire extinguishers
  • Off-season boat storage location

Available coverages

  • Broad Navigational Territory: Coverage extends to both Canada and the United States, with the option to include certain Caribbean locations, depending on the specific coverage selected.
